Memorial for Norma Moranville
Norma Moranville, 72, Labadie, died September 3, 2011. She retired from the Rockwood School District after 30 years of service.
She was the wife of Jim Moranville, Labadie, daughter of the late Norman S. Nixon and his wife Mary F., born Held; sister Joan Bartley and her husband, the late Leo George, Winfield, and John Grant and her husband Dennis, St. Charles, and niece of Harold and his wife Maureen Held, St. Louis and Florence Nixon, Cuba, MO.
She received a BA from Lindenwood College in 1960 and began his career teaching physical education in elementary and two Westridge Crestview Junior High School (school name at the time).
Moranville became a guidance counselor at Eureka Junior High School (school name at the time) after receiving his MA at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Since 2007, she was struggling with cancer.
A funeral service was held Sept. 10 at Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington, MO. Entombment was in our cemetery Dame, Lake St. Louis.
